Open water, a working boat and a crew doing their jobs. People talk about it afterwards in a way nobody talks about a conference room.
It takes people out of their comfort zones
A boat puts everyone a step outside the office version of themselves: same team, different context. The crew and the certificate hold the safe edges of the day while that happens.

Boat, skipper, crew, fuel and safety equipment in one number, with catering and photography quoted before you commit. Nothing to settle on the day.
How a corporate day actually runs
You board together fifteen minutes before departure. The skipper runs a short safety brief, three minutes rather than a lecture, and then the day is yours to shape.
Most groups use the outbound run for the working part: a briefing, an introduction, a client conversation that needed somewhere better than a boardroom. Then we hold position somewhere sheltered with the engines off for the middle section, which is where the actual value is. The run home is quiet.
Four hours is the standard charter. Longer is possible; say so when you enquire. Corporate days are priced on enquiry: tell us the date, the numbers and what you want the day to do, and we will quote it.
Group size, honestly
Ten guests on one boat. That is El Grande, and it is the largest single deck we have.
For more than ten we run boats together: two or three at a time, and up to fifty people across the fleet for a big occasion. That is genuinely a different exercise, with several departures to coordinate, several skippers briefed, and a group that spends the day split between boats. It works well for a team that will mix again over lunch afterwards, and badly for a session where everyone needs to hear the same thing at the same time.

What we need from you
- The guest list, so the skipper knows who they are looking for at the dock
- Dietary requirements at least 48 hours ahead, because after that the caterer has already shopped
- Any branded material you want rigged. Send it ahead or bring it on the day
Catering and extras
Catering platters are quoted per head when you book. A photographer for the first hour, with the full gallery delivered the next day, is the extra that most often pays for itself on a client day. Champagne aboard can be arranged.
All of it is quoted before you commit. There is nothing to settle at the dock.
Invoicing and compliance
Corporate bookings can be invoiced rather than paid by card. Say so when you book.
If your procurement or compliance team needs paperwork, we can supply proof of insurance and the SAMSA safety certificate for the vessel you are chartering. Both are current and both are on file. See safety and credentials for what we hold.
Weather
We make the call 48 hours ahead, which for a corporate day is usually early enough to move rather than cancel. If we cancel, you choose a full refund or a new date.
For a fixed-date event, a year-end function or a visiting client, book a morning and book in the shoulder season if you can.
Booking ahead
December fills with year-end functions and January with the summer season. For anything in that window, start the conversation in October.
