What happens if the weather's bad?
You get a full refund, or we move you to another date. Your choice, not ours; there is no third option where you lose money because the wind came up.
We make the call 48 hours ahead wherever we can, so you are not driving to the harbour on a maybe. Occasionally the sea does something the forecast did not and we call it on the morning; that is rarer than people expect, and the refund terms are identical.
What's included in the price?
Your SAMSA-licensed skipper and crew, fuel, all safety equipment and life jackets, and water aboard. Cold storage for anything you bring. On the fishing charters, rods and tackle are aboard and included.
The price you see is the price for the boat, not per person.
Can we bring children?
Yes, and plenty of our charters are family days. We carry kid-sized life jackets; tell us ages in the booking notes so the right sizes are aboard before you arrive.
Children must wear a life jacket at all times and remain your responsibility aboard.
Is it safe for first-timers?
Every boat holds a current SAMSA Local General Safety Certificate, every skipper holds the appropriate SAMSA licence for the class of vessel they are running, and the fleet is fully insured.
Before every departure the crew run a safety brief and a pre-departure check: life jacket count against headcount, fuel, first aid kit, forecast, and radio and phone tested.

What is your cancellation policy?
It depends how far ahead you cancel:
- More than 7 days before: 100% refund
- 3 to 7 days before: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days before: no refund, but we issue a credit note valid for 12 months
- No-show: no refund and no credit
If we cancel for weather, you get 100% back or a reschedule, whichever you prefer, no matter how close to the date it is.
