What you're booking.
Multiple days of self-drive hire on the boats we rent out, at a lower day rate than single-day hire. If you hold a skipper's licence and one day on the water is not enough, this is the arrangement.
How it works
You hire one of the rental boats for several days running. From R4,000 a day, excluding fuel, against R4,500 for a single day: the longer the hire, the harder the rate works for you.
The boat comes back to us each night unless we have agreed otherwise. Moorings, launching and any overnight arrangement are settled before the hire starts, not on the day.

- El Fresco: 520 Supercat, 5.2 m, four aboard. Simon's Town. Daylight hours only
- El Libre: Ballistic 650 RIB, 6.5 m, seven aboard. Simon's Town
- El Zorro: Gemini 600 RIB, 6 m, six aboard. V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
What you need
The same four requirements as a single-day hire, and we check all of them:
- A valid skipper's licence for the category of vessel and water you intend to use
- Relevant experience. A licence and no sea time is not enough: we will ask what you have run before, and where
- The right driver's licence for towing, if the boat is being towed or driven anywhere: your licence must cover the vehicle-and-trailer combination
- Full payment upfront to confirm the booking
What is and is not included
Included: the vessel, all statutory safety equipment aboard and operational, and a handover briefing on the first morning.
Not included: fuel, launching and retrieval. You return the boat clean and fully fuelled each day.

Are the requirements the same as a day hire?
Identical: a valid skipper’s licence for the vessel and water, relevant experience, the right driver’s licence for towing if the boat is being towed anywhere, and full payment upfront. One handover covers the whole hire.
Can we keep the boat out overnight?
By arrangement only. The default is back at the jetty each evening; if your plan needs the boat to sleep somewhere else, tell us when you enquire and we will see what works.

- A skipper: this is self-drive, and the licence and experience are yours
- Fuel used, settled on return
